Terms and ConditionsThe Building Skills Academy Course Payments and Deposits A non-refundable deposit of £100 (excluding any administration fees) is required to reserve a place on each course, except for Kitchen Fitting and the Handyman Multiskills package which will require a deposit of £200 (excluding any administration fees) The remaining balance for all courses is due 14 days before the start of the course. If you are booking within 14 days of your course start date the full course fees must be paid at the time of booking. Payment can be made by cheque, credit/debit card or BACS transfer. BACS details are provided on your invoice. Cheques should be made payable to 'The Building Skills Academy'. Administration Fees If you are booking outside of 14 days of your course start date we will gladly accept just your deposit to secure your place; however, an additional £10 non-refundable administration fee will be applied to your deposit amount. Cancellation of your course and refund policy Cancellation of your course must be made in writing and received in our office no later than 14 days before the start of your course. If you cancel your course outside of 14 days of your course start date then we will refund you with your fees excluding any deposit made and administration fees. If you cancel your course within 14 days of your course start date then the full fees, including deposit and any administration fees, are payable. However, if you are unable to attend your course due to unavoidable circumstances, a new date date may be offered at our discretion. Under no circumstances will reimbursement be made for non-completion of your course once you have started, however, we may be able to reschedule the rest of your course for a later date. Whilst every effort will be made to run your course on the published date, the Building Skills Academy reserves the right to cancel or amend the date, should this become necessary due to circumstances beyond our control. In the event of this occuring, you will be advised and offered an alternative date or complete refund of payments made. Additional Terms All course instructions will be sent to you by post prior to the start of your course. For Health and Safety reasons, safety footwear is required to be worn at all times within the Building Skills Academy; failure to comply will result in the termination of your course with us and under no circumstances will a refund be given.
